Live Bird Arrival Guarantee (No Exceptions)

We will replace, issue store credit, or apply the value toward any product we offer. There are no refunds on deceased chicks. All replacement chicks are shipped one time at no additional cost to the customer. (Free chicks are not eligible for replacement.)

However, the customer is responsible for the cost of the shipping box and heat pack. The total cost is $10.00 for chicks and $20.00 for starters. This fee applies to all replacement orders and must be paid before reshipment is completed.

We reship all orders via Priority Mail at no charge, but shipping can be upgraded to Express at the customer’s expense after the box fee is paid.

When picking up chicks at the post office, pictures must be taken there of any deceased chicks or starter birds. These photos must be validated by a postal worker and sent to us on the day of pickup. Failure to follow this procedure will void your live bird arrival guarantee.

USPS insurance does not cover deceased chicks or starter birds. It only covers shipping cost, and only if the package takes more than 3 days to arrive. Although the package is insured, 99.9% of the time we replace losses at our expense.

Replacement orders will be shipped as soon as chicks or starter birds are available. There is no immediate reship guarantee.

We take the utmost care to ensure your chicks arrive safe and healthy. We use high-quality packaging, and all chicks travel with hydro-feed gel—a high-protein, high-water gel made here on the farm. This ensures that our chicks and starter birds have both food and hydration throughout transit. All orders are filled in the order they are received, based on chick availability.

Cancellations / International Orders

All canceled orders are subject to a 15% fee of the total invoice for chicks or birds (excluding shipping). This fee covers handling and farm operations.

International orders are shipped with no refund after shipment is made. There is no arrival guarantee due to customs and other factors beyond our control.
